The Political Department
Our political division is headed by Ronen Aviani and Guy Busy, each with two decades of unparalleled experience advising the spectrum of political factions on a national and municipal level, while maintaining high sensitivity and discretion, making Busy, Negbi, Aviani, Cohen, Eyal and Co. the national leader in political-legal counsel.
Their unique expertise includes managing coalition negotiations; drafting coalition agreements; establishment and registration of political parties; drafting the party constitution and bylaws; helping establish the judicial institutions for the party; party-funding (internal and external); legal management and follow-ups in fundraising and financing elections for parties and public figures; legal management and follow-ups for the fundraising of parties and public figures; representation on the central and regional elections committees (both municipal and general); assisting with financial reports for the state comptroller from the election period (both municipal and general).
Additionally, Ronen Aviani, the firm’s administrative partner, is an expert in campaign management and the establishment of election headquarters.
Busy, Negbi, Aviani, Cohen, Eyal & Co. also have a special propaganda law practice (Elections Law [Propaganda Methods] – 5719-1959).
Heading the division is Guy Busy, who specialized and still currently serves at the Supreme Court chambers of the Honorable Judge Edmond E. Levy. Guy also served as the legal advisor of the Labor Party, the late Shimon Peres – Israel’s ninth president, the Yesh Atid Party, and several public figures.
